Where can we go out here?! To all tourist guides, drivers, and other locals this is probably one of the most asked questions asked by all of those looking for entertainment until early morning hours. The answer is quite simple – The Old Town!
Many bars ideal for “warming up” are located in narrow streets that are vertical to the street Stradun or Placa. The most famous among them are: the legendary bar “Casablanca” (ideal if you prefer house music); newly open “Fresh” (which is mostly visited by tourists); three Irish pubs are usually occupied by Irishmen, Australians and Americans; the “Arsenal” (which is not just one of the largest bars, but also a good place for a bit older generation looking for live music and evergreens); “Hemingway” is bar for “posh” clients and cocktail-lovers; and many others. The capacity of each of the mentioned bars is around 50 -100 people and they are open until 01:00 a.m.
If you are still not in the mood for going to bed at 01:00 a.m., the party continues in Revelin Club inside Revelin Fortress at Ploče Gate. DJs get everyone dancing and if you are not fond of dancing, the club also uses the street as its chill-out zone with an outdoor bar.
For those still fit for a party even after 2:30 we recommend the “East-West Beach Club” at Ploče – top outdoor and indoor spaces on the beach “Banje”, the most popular beach in Dubrovnik. Besides the “East-West” in the Old Town, close to the exit to Ploče there is a popular “Revelin” – a disco club four young people, located in the catacombs of the fortress Revelin built-in 1537.
