PROMOTION OF A BOOK ON THE FAMOUS DINGAC RED WINE
05.06.2008. // 14:15
A book on the famous Croatian wine called Dingač was released in Zagreb. Dingač wine is made from an autochthonous sort of red grape from a locality with the same name on the southern slopes of Pelješac. This is the first Croatian wine peotected by the Geneva Convention.
Branko Bačić, the State Secretary for the Sea at the Ministry of Sea, Traffic and Infrastructure estimated that the Dingač wine represents Croatia in tourism and in exports. The fact that the vineyards in Pelješac have increased over the last six to seven years by more than 220 hectares is proof that it pays to deal in wine today.
