Hotel Neptun

Four Star Hotels
Hotel Neptun is positioned in one of the loveliest parts of Dubrovnik on the beautiful Lapad peninsular. The hotel is around 4 kilometres from the centre of Dubrovnik and has excellent public transport connections. Beautiful beaches, crystal clear seas and unspoilt nature are just a few of the advantages for guests staying at Hotel Neptun. The hotel has a great choice of cuisines, from the buffet restaurant Mediteraneo to the a la carte restaurant Zoe where guests can enjoy a spectacular view of the sea whilst tasting some fine Mediterranean cuisines along with a glass of local or international wine. Of course apart from the local cuisines the restaurant also offers international specialities.

Hotel Neptun’s beach has been awarded the “Blue Flag”, as recognition of its cleanliness and quality, for the last few years. There is also an outdoor, sea water swimming pool as well as a children’s pool. A fitness centre with a sauna is situated in the hotel and guests can also relax and enjoy one of a wide variety of massages.

Hotel Neptun is open all year round.

Great location, hotel, staff - great holiday!

I won't repeat what others have said about the friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfasts and ease of buses to the old town. Take it as read that that is all excellent! We stayed at the Neptun w/b 29th June 09. There was a bus at the airport to take you into the old town by Pile Gate (35kunas). You're right by the bus station and can get the frequent number 6 or the no 5 to the Importanne resort - it's where the buses terminate and start from so no worries about missing the stop! Single ticket is 8 kunas available from the Tisak stalls (newspaper/sweet stalls). There is a gorgeous costal path from the Neptun to Lapad centre, takes about 15mins and you pass several paths down to rocky bathing areas. It's lit up at night too so fine for walking back from one of the many restaurants. It's a bit further to the Old town - we walked from Neptun and it took about 1hr 15mins, probably better on the bus in the heat but it's good for getting your bearings. Back to the hotel, it's excellent and we really enjoyed our stay, particularly enjoying a glass of wine on the balcony watching the sun go down and fishing boats come in - definately recommend Neptun and Dubrovnik!

I will definitely return - three days wasn't nearly long enough.

A point I do have to make is the that I honestly can't believe the negative reviews, especially those referencing number of steps to the pool area and the pool area itself - anyone who uses the internet and travels would easily see that the area is described on a number of sites as not great for those who aren't steady on their feet so don't go there if you are not !!! >>> more
Lovely Hotel, with beautiful views and very friendly staff.

My fiance and I have just enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Neptun Hotel.. We would thoroughly recommend this Hotel for a romantic holiday , and couldn't fault it , apart from wishing that we had been given a double bed instead of two singles pushed together. >>> more

After much debate we picked this hotel for our honeymoon as the reviews on the booking engine were so good. >>> more
