Spectacular City
2010-02-07

Visited this hotel in April 2006 with my mother and quite a large group of people. The staff in the hotel were very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and adequate but it had some nice rooms and some awful rooms. Make sure and ask for the third floor with both sea view and pool view. Food was edible but hotel found it difficul to cope with such a large group of people to be fed all at once. Met with a very abrupt bar man who used the top of the spirit bottle as a measure and not the normal size drinks measure. Dubrovnik itself, proved to be a mediterranean gem offering the traveller everything one could ask for. A visit to Kotor in Montenegro is a must but the hair pin bends through the mountains left us breathless all 33 of them. Elephatti Islands and fish picnic were one of the highlights of our trip. I would hope to go back to this wonderful city again, some time in the future.
