Hotel Rixos Libertas Dubrovnik

Luxury Hotels
Rixos Libertas Dubrovnik is situated just a 15 minute stroll from the ancient Old City of Dubrovnik. This luxurious hotel has a total of 254 rooms and apartments, of which 189 are superior rooms, 47 executive rooms and 18 apartments. One of the main advantages of this hotel is that the vast majority of the rooms have a really superb view over the Adriatic Sea and the island of Lokrum. Along with this unique view the Hotel Rixos Libertas has a large congress capacity, huge terrace with cocktails and a rich wellness program.

The terrace of Hotel Rixos Libertas is the choice of many people from Dubrovnik as the place to spend an afternoon either enjoying a coffee or taking a dip. Even though the hotel is spacious and modern Rixos Libertas Dubrovnik has its own recognisable charm and tradition.

The congress centre has a capacity for 1200 participants and the main conference hall can seat up to 800 people. The conference hall can also be divided into three smaller halls and the space in front of them is large enough to be used for exhibitions. The congress centre also contains three more rooms for meetings, two VIP areas for meetings and a business centre.

Rixos Libertas Dubrovnik has a spa and wellness centre on two levels which provides many different choices such as an indoor and outside pool, beauty centre, fitness centre, relaxation area, massage, Turkish baths and vitamin bar.
The hotel was constructed in a way that all facilities can be accessed by handicapped people.

Fantastic Hotel/Location and Facilities

Just returned from staying 1 week at this hotel, it was fabulous. Other reviews on here did have me rather worried, but I can honestly say, everything was brilliant.
The rooms are modern, clean and spacious, shower in bathroom brilliant, both overhead large flowing mode or normal showerhead options available. As mentioned by others, glass screens between bathrooms and bedroom areas allow you to still watch the see and views whilst taking a bath or shower. Only people who could see you is someone on one of passing cruise ships with binoculars or some nosey neighbour popping their head round from next door, so no need to worry - both extremely unlikely!!
The breakfast was amazing, the choice of cereals, juices, cooked meats and cheeses, breads and full cooked options were certainly in plentiful supply. I did notice the last couple of days a few things changed, small jam/honey pots placed on the tables, instead of a lavish spread available on a table (probably due to certain types of people helping themselves to several pots and placing them in their bags to take away for lunch etc with no regards for other people), but other than this the spead was excellent. Coffee and tea were delivered to your table. I do agree certain areas of the hotel and rooms could be touched up with paint, but I am sure they will do this as the season gets quieter. Our room needed a couple of places touching up, but it certainly did not affect my use of the room or stay. The sunbeds are great on the balconies, all receiving sun at some point during the day and views are fabulous.
Staff were great and very friendly, drinks were hotel prices, a small beer round the pool was 22kuna (L3.00 approx depending on exchange rate) White coffee 13 Kuna L2.00. Watch out for the free bagels and cheese near the bar area at the pool served around 4.00pm, no one mentions it too you, but you can help yourself, free tea also. Without sounding too cheap, there is a little shop up the hill just out of reception on the left, you can buy a 0.5lt bottle of beer here for 6.50 kuna (about 90p) and take them back to your room and have a drink on your balcony, without having to pay the pool bar prices!! (not sure if we are allowed to put this!!)
All in all, fantastic hotel, will definately go back one day, easy walk into town and back and even to Lapad too.

Lovely staff at reception, good location, spacious hotel.

I'm just back from the Rixos Hotel, when we first arrived I was so impressed with the hotel, the reception staff where so friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, all very white, the funny thing was the bathroom, instead of walls they use windows, a lot of time depending on the light you could see into the bathroom so there wasn't much privacy, so it wouldn't be ideal if you are anyway shy! The shower is amazing though!! >>> more
Cheap & Nice

I visited this hotel on 20&21st of September. It has a nice room. Nice bright decoration. Bed was very large. We ordered room service, hamburger and club sandwich (delicious but could be better) Prices were really low. (70 EUR for room/night) Hamburger+chips+coca cola = 14 Turkish Lire (7 EUR). >>> more
