Along with the hotel’s beach and three outside pools guests also have at their disposal an indoor pool, fitness club, tennis court and a spa and beauty centre. During their stay guests can enjoy a drink at one of the four bars, dance the night away in “Orlandinjo” night club or taste the fine cuisines from one of the four restaurants. Apart from the Elafiti restaurant, there is the fine dining restaurant Lenga, the tavern Maslina and the exclusive sushi bar Satu.

The conference facilities of the hotel are second to none and include; nine rooms for meeting for 30 to 1000 participants, salons with terraces and views over the nearby Elaphite islands, modern business centre and various locations ideal for cocktails and entertainment.

Hotel Dubrovnik Palace is situated at the foot of the Petka hill and there are numerous walks available through the forested countryside. Comfort and style, a crystal clear sea and views over local islands are reasons enough to choose this extra special hotel.

Can't recommend - this is a convention hotel only

Stayed here for 4 days, checked in at 3.15 in the afternoon to be bluntly told "your rooms aren't ready wait for 15 minutes". No offer of a coffee/soft drink whilst we were made to wait for rooms which should have been ready well beforehand and certainly no sort of apology. 5 star service?

The rooms are all supposed to be sea-view but clearly something went wrong in the translation as ours was definitely "tree-view", yes it all sounds the same I know, if you craned your neck sufficiently or stood on a chair you could see the sea! We looked into other rooms which had been updated and ours, like other reports on this site, was outdated but with a state-of-the-art safe which utilised the room keycard - assuming you had 15 minutes available each time you wanted to open or close it because swiping your card just had no effect most of the time!

Of course we complained to reception about the room and safe, one person told us it was impossible to move as they were full whilst another sometime later (24 hours +) did offer us another room which we declined. Wasn't then worth the bother of moving.

Buffet breakfast had a very good selection of food albeit some of the hot dishes contained cold food (ie a new chafing dish of scrambled egg). The coffee from the machine wasn't terribly great but that's hotel coffee although you'd think 5 star places would have made a plan by now. We ate once at the swimming pool upper terrace at lunch time, service was terrible, half of our drinks didn't arrive and when we asked the waiter just threw his hands in the air as if to say he didn't know or care. I think he understood no English.

We tried taking the free hotel shuttle into town on the first night, asked at receiption before whether it was likely to be full - should we arrive 15 mins beforehand to be safe - was told "no problem". We got there 7 mins to spare and it was already full. Went and found the man at reception (Mr "No Problem") who just laughed at us! Incredible 5 star service.

Although we thought Croatia was quite expensive being outside the Euro-zone and appreciating that if you stay in a 5 star hotel you must expect to pay 5 star prices, in no way does this hotel offer value for money. On checking out I was asked whether I enjoyed my stay and I told the truth: the reply was "this is a convention hotel Sir". That says it all. Find somewhere else in Dubrovnik which is a fantastic place as was the rest of Croatia that we saw.

Perfect setting on the shores of the Adriatic

he location of the hotel is superb, and the views over the Adriatic at sunset are spectacular. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, the staff were charming, efficient and extremely helpful. >>> more
Beautiful location, great hotel, but isolated and seem to overbook

Stayed for 5 nights, had no serious complaints with the service or the hotel. The hotel is right on the sea with every room facing the water. However, about 1/4 of the rooms have view blocked by pine trees. Fortunately, ours wasn't. The standard rooms are quite small, not much larger than the bed; if you care about room size, upgrading to a superior or suite is a must. >>> more
Has a computer room, with 4 computers free for use.

The only real complaint about this hotel is that there is pretty much nothing nearby. No stores, no restaurant, no sand beach. [There is a nice beach and shopping areas down Masarykov road, about 15-20 minute walk away, but it gets quite crowded.] For dinner, you either eat at the hotel, or need to take a bus/taxi/shuttle to the Old Town. >>> more
